SANA Angling and Aquaculture Policy

Following approval at the Board Meeting on 1 Feb 2012, SANA has adopted this policy, as prepared by the MFC.  The SANA Board records its thanks to those who have contributed to the production of this policy

Value Statement

Scottish Anglers National Association Limited (SANA) cannot legislate against every eventuality but is does expect its members, as an Individual, an Associate, Club or members within affiliated Clubs, and all members of SANA Committees, to uphold the values and principles upon which SANA Limited is based.
As examples (not exhaustive): 
SANA expects all members to pay the proper subscription fee by the appointed time each year.
Whilst engaged in SANA business, SANA expects all members to have integrity in all their dealings with it and other bodies.
Nothing will be said, written or inferred nor will any action be taken that will bring the SANA name into disrepute.
Policies currently in existance include:
Child Protection; Data Protection; Equal Opportunities; Equity; Volunteering; Complaints and Appeals; Recruitment of Ex-Offenders; Breach of Rules; Drugs and Doping; Conflict of Interest; Secure Handling of Information.
Any impropriety, breakdown or breach of any of the above, may be dealt with under SANA's Disciplinary Procedures.
